Male Speaker 1: I am going to customer you can tell me exactly what to the car-pull when trying to get a good service.
Male Speaker 2: Alright! First we want to make sure that your screen wash level is topped up. You can actually just see the level, it's not just clean, it has some screen wash in there obviously getting on towards wind-set. And you don't want to just put plain water in; you actually want a good top screen wash as well. Stop that freezing when it gets called or to say your anti freeze level. It's just in here! You want to make sure your anti-freeze all here. All your levels are okay. And all I would say is to check that your brake fluid level, this one here, is up to the max or very near the maximum level. If it's down to the minimum I'd be advised to take it somewhere and have it -- or bring it to us or we'll come to you and get your brakes looked at.
Over here we've also got the oil filter. Now you want to make sure that the oil filter still looks clean. Now this one's actually a pipe type that you can see, it's physically been disturbed so I am going to take this pipe off so -- so you can see the oil filter. And it's just there.
Male Speaker 1: That looks clean!
Male Speaker 2: Yeah!
Male Speaker 1: But if that is -- then I see that we need to change that alright.
Male Speaker 2: Okay! Also things like your air filter assembly. You're not going to be able to see whether it's actually been replaced or not but if you've been -- tell it has. There ways of checking it. The crank is to be unbolted, pop it out and at the same -- most of the air filters they'd say are actually bolted down. So --
Male Speaker 1: Great! Battery -- and as long as it doesn't look corroded.
Male Speaker 2: Yeah! I mean, if you do get -- the terminals that do corrode, you can pour warm water onto the battery terminals and that will dissolve any corrosion or acid distills on itself and that will also neutralize the battery acid itself.
Male Speaker 1: Great! And the brakes as well -- what's -- and then pawns of the brake pads being changed.
Male Speaker 2: What we'll need to do is take a -- we can either have a look through the wheels. It's best to actually specifically eject the wheel clad, take the wheels off so you can have a look at the pads.
Male Speaker 1: Okay!
Male Speaker 2: Sometimes you can, if you're actually looking through the wheel, you can handily see the outer pad and sometimes the inner pad -- sometimes where it's quicker than the outside pad. So just doing a physical check isn't always a guarantee that your brake pads are okay. So it's the way you need to eject the clad and take the wheel off and physical have a look.
Male Speaker 1: Well that's pretty helpful Tony. What I am looking to do at the car service. Thank you, Car Doc!
