Basic meditation: How to Meditate
Hi everyone! My name is Tarek Kazak and this is a short introductory video on meditation.
Now meditation for me really is just the art of relaxing your mind and your body. Now your body is equipped with several mechanisms that regulate your mental health, physical health so as to maintain the balance between your consciousness and everything you observe on contrast.
The throughout the day, there is several thoughts and feelings, we do not necessarily have time and process and because of stress what happens is that these thoughts and feelings get back up with our system and over time these creates blockages and the blockages can eventually lead to sickness, breakdown who requires some kind of drastic changes to really get things back on track.
Meditation does, when you practice some meditation allows you to restore your inner balance by evacuating all these excess thoughts and feelings. Now you should know that because meditation is about relaxation that meditation has truly been regarded as a passive process and what that means is that meditation is about allowing your body to guide you back to a restored state.
Now here are a few easy follow guidelines that would help you to meditate. That first thing I want to do is to put myself into an environment that is relatively quiet, where I feel safe, and comfortable.
Next, I am going to put myself in that position that is comfortable for both inside and out what I mean by that is. I want my position to be, by my body to be in a position where I am not exerting any pressure on my internal organs and secondly, I want to be in the position that does not require any effort to maintain.
So in this chair for example, and I can also do this laying down on the bed doing it sitting up, but in this chair for example, the stay all the way in the back and leaving on some pause behind me during to help me stay upright. It would bring my abs down here, lower my legs a little and I will close my eyes and just breathe normally.
I will let my breath rise and fall of its conscious and just start to relax. Now as I try to relax, my awareness has stretched to shift in different parts of my body. Because meditation is a passive process I really wanted to just sit back and follow my words. By doing this movement, fast and feelings of my back into my system, it starts to circulate.
People tend to react differently; some people really get under by these instructed moves by no longer remaining still. Other people enter into discussion with the thoughts or we are leaving some of the feeling and other people resist the flow. These are things we want to afford; you really want to remain and observed it during this process. You really want to be guided through this process by you inter knowing.
Right, to ask this thoughts and feeling, enter your conscious and spirit and give you a sensation that your mind is really the center of your agitation, you really want to fallback on that trust that your body will take care of this for you and with a little patience this energy, this agitated your mind, will begin to dissipate y itself and the stillness of your body actually helps to counteract this agitation in your mind.
So meditation really becomes about initiating this flow of thoughts and feelings that arises into the conscious stream and then by themselves begin to dissipate and get released from the person. This is where meditation really starts to become beneficial in the creation of this flow.
Now there are no rules as to how long you should maintain this flow, five, 10, 20 minutes, it really is up to how much meditation that you did. There is no limit to how many times you need to meditate. It really is up to you. Well it is not for f to become acquainted with this for, accustomed to reducing it during your meditation.
Another important point is that, how to judge your meditation. There is no such thing as good meditation or bad meditation. It is true that a repeated practice you can bring yourself to a place of inner peace or to your stillness but this is not something you should for in every meditation. All your tribe routine during meditation is to relax a little initiate this flow and let your body clean up a little bit of what is going on in there.
