Basic Pentatonic Scale Lick

Brad from Jam play here. Today, I’m going to teach you a lick using the pentatonic scale in the key of A minor. Let’s just start out with the first note to that and that is on the seventh fret on the third string. [Demonstration] Now, we’re going to go the A note on the fifth fret first string. Next note is going to be on the eighth fret second string. Then the next note is on the second string fifth fret. [Demonstration] Now, let’s just play through that all together. Notice with the right hand here, I’m using alternate picking up, down, up, down probably works best for that. Play it one more time slow. There you have it, an alternating lick.
