When we are at the net playing with our partner. So we got Capri demonstrating, what the signals are, we are going to let you know, so now when you watch, you know what we know and you can tell what's going on the court.
The first signal Capri showing me, if I'm serving behind her, if she has got 2 fingers held up one on each hand, that's telling me that no matter, who I serve, she is going to block them line, so one finger, means line. So if I server the person on the left side of the court, she is going to block them line, which means I am going to go cross court and play defense. So she is responsible for anything like comes down, line in front of her. I am responsible for anything cross court.
And next one we are going to show is cross, that's 2 fingers. If she holds up two fingers like that right now, she is telling me that she is blocking both people cross court which is the opposite of what we just did. So now, if I serve the person on the left side of the court, Capri is going to block cross, which means I need to go, right down the line and in front of them and play defense on the line, same thing with other side of the court.
Next one we are going to show one of each, so she is telling me that she is going to block this person, if I serve the left side of the court she is going to block them line. Because she is that one finger up, which means I play defense in the cross court. If I server the right side of the court, she is going to block them cross and that means I need to go to the line and that person and play defense.
Okay another thing, that she can show me with her fingers, if she's going to block, line for both people, she is now showing me where she wants to serve by putting her 2 thumbs together, she is making a little window; she wants me to serve, right up the middle of the court. That what she is telling me like putting those thumbs together, so she is giving me an area to serve.
She can also tell me to serve one person or the other, by moving her hand like this. Right now she is telling me, for some reason she wants me to serve the person on the right side of the court. And when I do that again she is going to block line I am going to go in a play defense cross court.
The last one, she is going to show me, we have got a fist here, so we have got no fingers up, here we got 1 finger up, so if I serve this person, she is going to block line, again I am going to the angle to play defense, If I serve this person she is telling me she is not blocking, she is not scared at this person, she thinks we can both tick down they are not big hitters and she is just going to pull up the net, and were go, both going to play defense and take the ball.
