Emily Heaver: Hi, Emily Heaver ELLE.com Associate Beauty Editor, so do you embrace your natural hair texture or do you work against it by using tons of styling products and hair tools. That what's were going to ask women on the street today. What’s your natural hair texture and do you work with it or you do work against it to style it differently?
Female 1: I definitely work against it, it’s maybe straight today but that’s not how it is when I wash it. I use some relaxing balm and a blow drier.
Female 2: Basically this, it’s very wavy, very beachy, and so it is. It’s not as blonde though it’s a little dark in the mat. I sometimes wear it straight but I usually wear it naturally, I usually just leave it like this, I'm not a type of person—I just like being simple.
Female 3: Honestly, it has changed over the years. The more fish I eat and the more that I eat the more oily it becomes. So I've changed my diet but to you know help my skin to my hair in the past years.
Emily Heaver: So do you always wear it wavy or do you kind of style it straight occasionally?
Female 3: I do both, just to keep it different during the days. It’s just easier when it’s wavy, its fun to straighten it out sometimes it just more time consuming.
Emily Heaver: So what’s your natural hair texture?
Female 4: Whatever this is.
Emily Heaver: Really, that’s great, it’s perfectly wavy like that that’s your natural hair texture.
Female 4: I guess so if you want to call it that.
Emily Heaver: Do you use anything in it, its looks so great.
Female 4: Well I like to use leave-on conditioner, because it kind of—I mean right now it’s the winds, its making it crazy but it kind of keeps the frizz a little bit down.
