Beginner Drum Lessons

Hi. I’m Jared Falk and welcome to the Beginners Lesson Section of freedrumlessons.com. These lessons are for new drummers or anyone that just wants to review the basics. We’ll be going over essential information including basic terms, kit setup, adjusting pedals, holding the drumsticks, bass drum techniques, proper posture and simple warm-ups. You can pick and choose the order of the lessons, but it’s highly recommended that you eventually watch through all of them. Some of the lessons may seem a little bit basic at first but you never know when I might mention a tip that you haven’t come across yet. So with that in mind, go check out the beginner video lessons and don’t forget to bookmark this website so you can come back and re-watch any lessons again in the future.
