Beginner's Guide to Watching TV and Movies on Hulu #8 - Profile Settings
Your profile gives you a way to share what types of things you’re interested in and that’s what your friends will see on Hulu. Click on edit your profile. You can add your interest, favorite movies, favorite TV shows, music, books, sports and even websites that you loved. You want to add more websites just click on more. You can also add more personal information like your own website or blog. Click here to add a profile image to represent you. Just select the image from your computer. Click on upload and then resize this box around the portion of the photo you want included and click on Save.
Your setting is where you can choose what sort of email notification you wish to receive like Hulu updates, when a new video has been added to your cue and you can also choose to always show English captions when available and select the video playback default settings. You can choose privacy setting for different parts of your profile. For example, you can make your birthday only visible to your friends, your email private to yourself and your interest public. You can also do the same the activities on Hulu.
So if I don’t want people to know what I’m watching I would make my activity private but I could still choose to let my friends see what shows I subscribe too.
