My name is Justin Rudd, I am an advocate for animals for the environment and for kids. I coach beauty pageant contestants and I teach beach fitness classes. Today, I am going to take you on a tour and show you my favorite spots right here in Belmont Shore.
We have got a lot to see, so come on, let us go.
This is 2nd Street. It is the heart of Belmont Shore, it is the most shopped area of all of all of Long Beach. This is the best place in all of Belmont Shore to get a good cookie and a good piece of cake. Sweet Jill’s is my favorite. Yum. What is this? What is this in the front? Lemon? That looks good. Here on 2nd Street, we have got something pretty unusual. This is called shadow walk.
Colorful mural art can be found in many areas of Long Beach. These are some of my favorite pieces near the Belmont Pier. This is one of my favorite stores in all of Belmont Shore, it is called Maison Femme. It is a little bit of Paris right here in Belmont Shore. This is an eclectic shore full of treasures for all occasions. You can find things for the home, the body, gifts, music, accessories and it is even a full service flower shop.
Bouna Gente is my favorite Italian restaurant. I always come here for a pepperoni pizza with extra salsa. It is good pizza you all and I am not kidding.
That is good ambient.
Ralph, can we have this?
Belmont Shore is one of the friendliest dog communities in the country. Look for the orange cones that mark the lease free area on the beach. You can work out year round in Belmont Shore, there are paths for biking, running and blading, volleyball nets, beachfront basketball courts, roller hockey and playgrounds.
On Ocean Blvd. just before the peninsula you can embark on a romantic sunset gondola ride on the bay of Belmont Shore. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy the gondolier serenading you in Italian.
