This is a LIE. It does not lower any risk of infections and a HUGE Risk is DEATH. The only infections in a INTACT boy is because someone has retracted his foreskin. If he does get a UTI, it is treated just like you would your daughter. Antibiotics. Do your research lady. There are no benefits. And personal preference? Why force what YOU like on your infant? And religious reason? WHY FORCE YOUR RELIGION ON YOUR CHILD WHO MAY NOT CHOOSE THE SAME RELIGION? You would not force religion on a grown adult, Why do it to a child? No medical or health organization in the world recommends routine infant circumcision. 100-200 baby boy's die each year from circumcision. Melanie Raposo: Hi everybody and I'm Melanie Raposo, and welcome to mommy's minute, if you are expecting a boy you may need to consider the possibility of having your little men circumcised. Circumcision is the medical procedure involving and moving the babies fore skins from the penis two to 3 days after birth. The whole procedure takes about 10-15 minutes and the wound usually heals within 7-10 days. Many people opt for circumcision for religious reasons personal preference and hygiene reasons. Some possible benefits include reducing the risk of STD's urinary tract infections and penal cancer. Some possible risks include bleeding infection and penal abnormalities. When deciding whether to have your son circumcised its important to weight the benefits and the risks and also the talk to your doctor and other family members to help make the best possible decision for your son.
