Beo Sound 3 - Tech Review
Male: Kind of cool but did you know what it was at first?
Female: Well, the speaker kind of thing gave it away, the speaker kind of thing that was my technical terminology for this beautiful banging Oliveson Beo Sound 3.
Male: This is a radio, a high end radio and I mean its pretty cool, like on top here everything’s all touch controlled here, you control everything, the radio even things like the volume. But check this out, want to get the radio going?
Female: Ooh, an automatic antenna like that is a geeks dream, is it not. Like look at Mike go crazy, he’s salivating over it.
Male: It is pretty cool, its $900.00 okay, don’t get me wrong this things expensive but it is a Banging Olsen. Typically, you are paying more for the electronics they build inside but also the fashion statement that is making as well. Its extruded aluminum casing here, so again its all really high-end top quality materials that’s they’re using. So something cool about this as well is the again with the touch here, it’s basically its all touch. You control the volume with it.
Female: This is very similar to an iPod, it kind of acts and works the same way but kind of like how you got your own little aerial button there, so if you just wanted to play with the antenna, you can do that and that will keep Mike happy for hours. I tell you I’m bringing this thing into the office everyday.
Male: I know its going to hang out at home, just to watch them all watching TV or something with the antenna up and down, so what makes this kind of unique as well is like right on the front here, one where we got the radio going.
Female: It actually has an LED screen in it, so you can actually see the red lights behind it, which will show what radio station you,’re playing but Mike you’re going to get into the next really cool feature, which is an addition—
Male: Wait a second; I have to put the antenna down. So it’s also a digital music player as well, which is obviously something you need to have nowadays because most people have their music digitally. It’s got an SD card slot right in the bottom tucked away, so you basically fill up an SD card full of music, MP3’s stick it in and you’re basically good to go. It’s got a battery, built in, so apparently after one charge it’s good for around eight hours or so depending how much music, how loud you’re playing it. So its kind of a cool thing, so obviously you can just plug it in and listen to it anywhere but its nice to have the battery in it, so if you do want to take this from room to room. Maybe out on the patio as well on the summer day, you can listen to all your favorite music.
Female: And it’s not that heavy for a device that actually pumps out not like really good sound quality, its pretty light.
Male: It’s not that light either, this thing—
Female: It’s not heavy for the sound quality that’s coming out of it, don’t you think?
