Best Brower Based Game - Game Review

Austin: Hi! My name is Austin at YouSuckAtGames. This is all about games today, Yeah. All right, so this is a web browser based game and it's probably got to be one of the best I've ever seen. It's called instantaction.com. I signed up during the beta so I'll have little more things than you will, because I've got points, free point. I got to buy marbles and stuff. But, let's cut to the point. This is totally free, totally free 3D gaming. First person, there's third person, however you like to play. There's a number of different games. I'm pretty sure there's eight games and these are basically up in little slideshow here. It's basically to shown one what they are. I will give more of a brief in look after I sign in. So, basically what it is - instantaction.com and I'll show you a really cool outlook of it. Sorry, I got allergies, they've been acting up a lot lately. All right. So this is it here. This is the main screen. After you sign up, log in. You also have to download a add-on for Firefox or Internet Explorer, whichever you use. But really it's not that big of a deal. Download it and restart, it comes up. All right. So this is -- whenever you sign in this is the screen here. So there's Fallen Empire: Legions, first person shooter. Amazing! I love it. I'll show you that game later. I won't explain it. Galcon, basically, you might have heard of it, before but your one planet it produces a bunch of ships and then have to take over other planets. It's a strategy based game, really cool. Lore: Aftermath, MEC combat. Pretty basic. I find it really tough to control though. Ace of Aces is a combat flight simulator. I don't know if you've ever played it from Microsoft's version, but it's basically like that, a little more intense though. Marble Blast Online, Basically, this game you know it looks stupid, but its actually really fun. Basically you're one marble, you have to roll around these different stages, they're pretty complex sometimes, but you have to roll around and then you have to pick up gems. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Rokkitball - this I don't know if you can see this little icon here. It sort of looks like the FIFA symbol, right. Basically, what it is, it's -- you could say future soccer, right. You're in the suits and you have to shoot the ball into different goals. It's actually pretty fun. ThinkTanks - this is a pretty cool game. It is basically just tank combat, it's fun. ZAP! is basically an online version of Asteroids. Put it too simple. All right. For some of these games, you need a 256 megabyte video card which most of you should have. For Fallen Legions you need 256. Galcon -- I'm pretty sure that's actually that's 128, 256, 256, 128, this is 256, 128, and a I'm pretty sure that's actually 256. All right. So I'm going to show you Fallen Empire: Legions. I'm pretty sure you're going to die to see it. I know I am. Quick Join. So, you get to choose a different number of load outs. My favorite will be the outrider. Watch your chain gun, pretty basic, you get to go fastl; that's my favorite part. All right, I'm going to switch to fraps, hold on. I just died I didn't switch fast enough. Okay, so right off the bat, looks pretty cool, eh? Watch this, fast. I picked up a rocket launcher. So basically this is what they call skid. Hold on, I'll throw it in third person. So this is what they call skid. So, basically what you are doing -- you are -- you have boosters, you're levitating off the ground and if you hit hills just at the right time, you go faster. Sorry for the little bit of lag. All right. Now, this, I find pretty cool. If you get this little warning up there -- you want to press 'R' overdrive. You lose health if you do it for too long though. I tried to kill someone. I'll show you what killing someone is like in this game. Oops! Sniper. [Game Demo] Oh! No, he's dead. Yeah, this game, you've got to have a fast net connection. Probably, broadband would be the best bet. Don't try it with dialup, it'll take forever and I mean forever. [Game Demo] I'm pretty good at the skiing part, but whenever it comes to combat, I'm pretty bad. If you want to add me my name is Fatal1ty. No, I'm not the real one. [Game Demo] Yeah, so it's a pretty intense game, but fast paced action, first-person shooter. Anything, you want you get to go fact shooting people. It's everything you want in a browser based game.
