Speaker: Okay, how do you put a helmet on properly? This is the picture. It should be squarely on your head, not tilted forward and not tilted backward. It looks -- the kids like it, tilt it backward because it looks better or it's cooler, it needs to be straight down, not side to side and the straps need to be appropriately tied, so they can't come loose. If you have a bike helmet and you were in a car accident or you fell off your bike and you hit the helmet and it saved your life, what should you do? When I asked the children they say, "Kiss the helmet." Good idea, say thank you to the helmet, but you need to throw it out. Once it's been involved in an accident, the styrofoam inside is broken, it's not proper anymore and it won't save again.
