Big round composter holds plenty of materials

Hi, this is Lars with Clean Air Gardening and today I am going to tell you about the big round compost bin. It is big and it is round. It is so big I was inside of it. Here is how it works. It is made out of a really flexible plastic material, there is no bottom, so the compost will stay right on the ground which is soil friendly. Basically, when you get in the box, it is going to be in a small box. This thing is going to be folded up like that. You are just going to throw it in the sidewalk or some place where it is sunny and this black plastic is going to absorb the heat and it is just going to stretch right out like that. It takes about maybe 10 minutes to put together. You have got some bolts and wing nuts right here. That is all there is to it. I has got handles for it is easy to move around. It is going to hold an enormous amount of material because it is nice and big and round. Since it is round there are no corners. So there are no spots to really or are not composting very well because they are stuck in the corner. It is just all around and so everything is in a nice big round pile. It has a hole on the top so when it rains, if the water cools on here it will drain right into your bin which keeps everything nice and moist. Although if you notice that your bin is getting a little dry and you see it is about to rain, you just take the lid off but rain into it. You can also add water with the water hose, if it seems like it is too dry. Another cool feature about this bin is the bottom. There is a wing nut right here. You just take it right off.

There are actually two of them. I don’t have them both but for easier demonstration purposes and then you can get the compost right out of the bottom as it is finished with a shovel or something like that. This is a great compost bin, it is good to just get all your compost in there and forget about it then you are going to have compost eventually and get it out in the bottom. A good companion product for this is the compost-turning tool, the compost activator or the compost starter. If you don’t know anything about composting yet, don’t forget to get a composting book.
