From computer geek to richest man in the world, Microsoft found that Bill Gates lives a life dreamed off by thousands of gawky and short-sighted computer visits. Gates made his first $20,000.00 as a 14-year-old for a venture that provided computerized traffic control. He set up Microsoft in 1975 while still in college and within 10 years, the company’s MS-DOS Operating System dominated the personal computer market.
Bill Gates: All the computer before the PC came along was a very different device. It was a device of large organizations. This idea that it could empower individuals was a dream that other companies have and actually made that dream come true.
Microsoft was initially tainted only with IBM’s personal computer. The company kept MS-DOS copyright. It was Gates higher punch that PC clones would enter the market in huge numbers and he was right and most adapted MS-DOS as their operating system.
In 1985, the company released Windows, the graphical extension of DOS. Three years later, Microsoft Office hit the market and became the dominant suite of computer applications for PC use. As CEO, Gates have prime responsibility from product strategy and demonstrated it on prior level division to software development. Internet Explorer launched Microsoft and went even higher stratosphere and the browser is still the world’s most but this success made the critics. Microsoft parts retract to the seat of happiness, security floors and the legendary blue screen of death that appears whenever Windows crashed.

Bill Gates: The only thing standing in the way of saving millions of additional kid’s lives in developing countries is ensuring an adequate supply of new vaccines. So our program has a simple goal to make vaccines you and I take for granted available to children regardless of where they live.
As his personal fortune accumulated, Gates reduced his day-to-day role at Microsoft and became involved in large scale philanthropy. With wife Melinda, he set up the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation with the intention of providing funding for areas of need not being adequately addressed by governments. The quarters had included childhood immunization, college scholarships and HIV prevention in Africa.
Bill Gates: We want to call on everyone here and around the world to help speed up what we hope will be the next big breakthrough in the fight against AIDS, the discovery of the Microbicide or an oral prevention drug that can block the transmission of the HIV.
Gates has put his money while he is in office giving away more than $29 billion of his purse in the fortune.
Bill Gates: This could mark a turning point in the epidemic and we have to make it an urgent priority. If we can discover these new preventive tools and deliver them quickly to the highest risk populations, we could revolutionize the fight against AIDS.
