Jen: Hi I am Jen from Boise Idaho. And I want to know if there are forms of birth control that actually decrease your sex drive? Susan Ernst: Jen it has been shown that oral contraceptive pills, because they increase finding of testosterone can slightly decrease the women's libido. This does not happen to all women however and so if you are having a difficult time with decreased libido on a birth control pill you should talk with your healthcare provider and they maybe able to suggest an alternative pill, or an alternative method of contraception.
