Blake Lively Unveils Rockefeller Plaza Christmas Tree Star Narrator: Blake Lively brought an extra sparkle to the unveiling of the Swarovski star that is to top the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. The Gossip Girl wore a Swarovski crystal blazer to match the unveiling of this year’s Swarovski encrusted star. The 12-pointed star was hoisted up by a crane to the top of the 74-foot high Norwegian Spruce. Lively says to families to always come to New York during the holidays to see the world famous tree. The star is outfitted with over 720 LED bulbs to create the special twinkling effect. The official tree lighting ceremony will take place in Rockefeller Center on November 30th.
