Hey, everyone out there this is Julio coming to you live, from live.BluePhoenix.tv and today I am going to review an application or more or less show you how to use virtual VMware fusion, which is a virtual machine program that allows you to run computers within a computer.
So as you can see here, at Windows XP Professional and Ubuntu, which one is powered off and one is suspended. This application allows you to add as many virtual machines that you would like, so all you would really need to do is, click new, it will take you to reset a guide, so you can choose windows Linux, Novell, Sun Solaris and other. So we are going to select the Linux, we can select all sort of the types of Linux this shows including other, but in this example I am going to choose an Ubuntu, click on the new, you get the name of the virtual machine, and then check and select how much hard drive space it is. On the newest version of Ubuntu, you need at least 5 Gigabytes of hard drive space, so we are going to go ahead and do that, and then you can start the virtual machine. Now install the operating system using the installation disc so go ahead and click finish and I will insert the disc. In this case, I am going to go ahead and cancel out this since I already have it working. Once you got it and installed, you can go ahead and start the virtual machine and I will start XP and as you can see here that is going to boot in the XP, just like any other normal computer would. So you will bios screen and then it starts loading XP.
So this has been another short video review or more or less a tutorial on how to use the VMware fusion. If you have any more questions or want me to go any more detail, do not hesitate to E-mail me.
