Meet Natasha Tabori. In the morning she only has time to spend one minute on her makeup. Her favorite makeup product is Mascara and she doesn't like her nose. Natasha; welcome to Mummy Makeover.
Sarah Jagger: Hi Natasha.
Natasha Tabori: Hi Sarah!
Sarah Jagger: So Natasha, tell us a little bit about yourself.
Natasha Tabori: I am 31 years old. I am married to Nick for ten years and we have little girl Misha (ph), she is four months old now. I used to be a computer programmer but I stopped working since we have the little girl.
Sarah Jagger: Now Natasha you have told us that you have one minute every morning to do your makeup. Surely, you have more time to spend than that.
Natasha Tabori: Well it's very difficult with a small baby really. I mean she is very demanding. So I don't have a time at the moment.
Sarah Jagger: How do you feel about experimenting with different eye shadow colors?
Natasha Tabori: I would really like somebody put make up on for me and they look fabulous.
Sarah Jagger: Great, well first I am going to introduce you to Gary. He is going to do your hair.
Natasha Tabori: Oh, that's excellent.
Sarah Jagger: Hi Gary!
Gary France: Hello!
Sarah Jagger: Natasha, I am going to leave you with Gary.
Gary: Great. Hi! Natasha.
Natasha Tabori: Hi Gary.
Gary France: Come on, have a sit. So you had your baby four months ago?
Natasha Tabori: Yeah that's right.
Gary France: Unfortunately, the hair looks like it has been suffered. How do you feel about it?
Natasha Tabori: Well I would like a change.
Gary France: You have got a less time now. I think what will be nice is if we reduce some of this length. You are happy to go a bit shorter in here, yeah? That would be great. Just soften that out, let's bring it down, as it maybe wide in the fringe a little bit and then with this new length here actually frame your face beautifully.
Natasha Tabori: It sounds good.
Gary France: We will make it quite messy so again you have it really simple, to maintain yourself, at the same time, we give it shape that you can blow dry or use straightening iron and make it a bit clean and sleeker.
Sarah Jagger: So Gary's team set to work on Natasha's hair. She has opted for a radical change of style. After admitting she hasn't taken care of her hair since the birth of her daughter Misha.
Gary France: This is a light weight conditioner. So when you are at home, if you don't have time to do treatments, and things on that, you just spray this in and it stays in the hair. Alright, here we go, first incision, are you okay?
Natasha Tabori: Yeah, go for it.
Gary France: And you hair line is really nice. It's very simple so it's going to be lovely in your neck as well to see that.
Sarah Jagger: No turning back now. Like many new mums, Natasha feels shorter hair is more manageable, given her little she has to spend on it. Gary is cutting off about 10 centimeters, no regrets from Natasha, well not yet.
Gary: My wife and I've just have our second baby.
Natasha Tabori: Oh that's great. Congratulations!
Gary France: Yeah. I know exactly how you feel.
Natasha Tabori: Yeah.
Gary France: We have a daughter of 18 months and one of seven weeks.
Sarah Jagger: An hour-and-a-half, later, what transformation.
Natasha Tabori: It smells good.
Gary France: I love the fragrance.
Sarah Jagger: Wow! Natasha! Look at you!
Gary France: We are done, pretty much done.
Sarah Jagger: Gary, talk me through what you have done.
Gary France: Okay, so it's a recap to my whole thing. We had quite a lot of length originally and it was just outgrown. We just needed something fresh so, we went for -- we agreed that we do something more mid-length, she liked this kind of easy bob type of shape, lots of layering internally as well because she has really thick hair. And you can see that it just brings out a little bit more softness and reduces the weight a bit more.
She can also do way that she wants to, she doesn't have time to dry and we've recommended straightening irons, and she is going out. Then we added some color. We've got our color expert Sarah, she just literally glossed over her natural color and then added a few of these sort of caramel, sliced it through this, towards the head and move around. It just takes out a little bit of lightness to get the light and dark working together and then just a little bit of shine, with the products, and protein just to make it feel luxurious and healthy.
Sarah Jagger: Natasha it is beautiful. Tell me what you think?
Natasha Tabori: I love it. I love the color and the whole color looks very young and fresh.
Sarah Jagger: Great! Well, come with me and we will get start on your make-up. So Natasha, you've told us that spending time on your make-up in the morning is completely out of the question.
Natasha Tabori: Yeah, that's right.
Sarah Jagger: So I think what we should do is just spend time on one feature. Now you have quite good skin, so I think that we don't really need to do much work on creating a base; we will use a little bit of concealer. If you can choose one feature, for us to play with, what would you like to work on?
Natasha Tabori: I think, I will like you to concentrate on my eyes.
Sarah Jagger: Okay I think that's great because you have got this new great quite sort of rock and roll hair cut, I think it would be great to use quite a bit of eyeliner around the eyes, with all smoky and smudgy and quite intense and we will leave the rest of your makeup quite natural.
Natasha Tabori: It sounds very glamorous.
Sarah Jagger: Okay I am going to actually apply a little bit of moisturizer with sponge. It helps it to really sink into the pores, so you have got a nice soft base to depend your make-up over. At the moment, your skin is slightly -- you have got great skin. Ever so slightly dehydrated, so I am using quite a rich moisturizer to really pump it up, Natasha's skin is very good.
She has got a fairly even complexion. There are few reddened areas where I want to add concealer either side of the nose. I like to use my fingertip to apply concealer. The trick is to pass it into the skin. That's best way to blend it because the fingertips will run the product. Translucent powder, just to make sure that we set your concealer, this powder has light reflecting particles which means that you don't get that flat completely, not finished that can drain the face with ingredients. A little powder on the eyelids, so when we apply eye-shadow, it doesn't slip from crease. Natasha has got great eyebrows. They really don't need much work. With this beautiful fringe in your face, I think that creating these dark smoky eyes, really going to balance it out.
Now a neutral colored eye shadow, you can wash all the way over the entire eye area. It's nice to have a base colored eye shadow that's quite close to your skin tone. It helps the other colors to kind of blend a little bit better and also highlights brow bone. I am using this kind of deep pinky chocolate with a tiny little bit of shimmer to take all the way under the eye and just strengthening the eye line a little bit more. And I think you can go quite strong with your eyeliner.
Next a little bit of attention to your lips. But I am using a neutral color lip gloss because we want to draw attention to Natasha's eyes. I am going quite stronger the mascara, up to the smoky effect, a final touch of powder to the face and we are done.
