Most medications that you take will appear in your breast milk. But usually in small amounts. However, even in the smallest doses, some drugs can be very harmful to your baby.

But before you start breast feeding make sure, you talk to your physician about switching to saver medications. Remember that you if you start breast feeding for a week, this may result in permanent weaning, since your child may not take your breast again.
