Hello, everybody and welcome to wine library TV. I am your host Gary Vaynerchuk and this is my friends is the Thunder Show. AKA the internet, most passionate wine program and it is a very, very episode live from Mumbai, India and doom on the roof with the queens necklace behind me and we are going to be tasting Indian wine as many of you might remember to one, two years ago. I started talking about Indian wine how I felt there is a potential there is a Terroir to be found. How we might have won to Christopher Columbus, and came to India and try to find it and that is what we are doing with my friends. Today is another very special day for a whole different reason because half way around the world my beloved New York Jets have scored the price possession of the NFL in signing for and trading for Brett Farve. So let me tell you right now your New York Jets are going to win the super ball this year and I will be popping all of my best wines when that happens.
More to talk about Brett when I come back home but today we are going to focused on three different wines. We got one white and two reds and let me tell you we have been spending some time here in the culture of wine in India’s very fascinating to me. It reminds me quit a bit of what the US market look like 20 years ago there is absolute appetite for more knowledge and more importantly I think a very interesting seen going on with the wines coming out specifically from India. Now I think it is going to be a slow process and unfortunately I think it is more government driven than actually driven by the Terroir what I mean by that is that they have outrageous if not a obnoxious taxes on exporting wine or importing wine into India they are doing that to protect the wine market locally. But I promised you the quickest way to have wines not grow and become better with in your own country is to keep the competitors out because then there will be no advances or incentives to make world class wine and my hope is for India to put it stamp on world class wines over the next decade.
But, that will not happen if this crazy Dots and taxes continue but that is why little political stands and let us get into the wines because that where we really to be out here on the Thunder Show. A built about on the Thunder Show so the first wine is the Tiger Hill 2007 Sauvignon Blanc. This wine rules in at about $12.00 once converted again the US market is seen very little wine from India at this point. We are also going to change try to change that as well so I am looking for some gems. Sula, which is going to be the 2nd wine Isabel in the US but Ang Grover sporadically but there are a lot more things coming on the seen more of that discovering over time let us see what the Tiger Hill brings to the table let us give this wine a snippy sniff.

On the nose I get a little bit of pear almost like a pear juice component it is a little cold you know what I think about room temperature I always prefer my wife warm so I can actually get the aromatic and the flavor profile well let us give it more snippy sniff that is what we do.

PS if you have never been to Mumbai start saving your pennies you want to come. Also while we are at it Matt even if you are not here link up the thunder cruise lot are going on with the thunder cruise you want to be a part of that sailing away in April 2009. Lots of wines being confirmed. I want to work on some Indian wine to be on the ship as well. Again, pear juice I get a little bit like acacia flower thing that is going on the nose but the nose is limited. Aromatically this wine my friends is challenge so that is a little bit of a problem let us give it a whirl.

Saddle fruit this some acidity at dinner I have Cenon Blanc, which I have to be honest with you was lack for a better word poor. However this Sauvignon Blanc effort has a little bit more intrigue going on it do not have that dynamic acid or excitement of flavor that let us say New Zealand or south Africa brings to the table. But there is a little bit of a higher acid level on this th
