Hey guys! I got a fun, little holiday, New Year’s getup; I guess you could say. The make up is really subtle but I kind of played the hairs kind of dramatic or poofy. So, I kind of toned down on the make and then you can jazz it up with some funny earrings and whatnot. This is just going to show you how to do it, so join me. We’re going to set the makeup just real quick. This is really, really simple; really, really easy to do. I might just cut this again. It’s subtle but at the same time, if you want your eyes to pop, you can it kind of, it just pops. Sorry I'm sick today and I just sized it down all—or whatever.
I want to tell you guys real quick. This is what I am going to use. This is a Tarte Treasure Chest. I got it, there’s a four of it, it’s Tarte palette. It’s so cute and all this stuff is natural. There is no parabens, no harmful ingredients and it’s got a great pigment that is—these are all eye shadows. Then it opens up, there’s more eye shadows and then there’s blush; blush. And then there’s lips, okay.
And I got this for free. I mean, just want to show you real quick how, so you guys can get them. And if you never heard Swag Bucks, it’s a search engine, so it’s like Google kind of. And the way you search, you get points. And when you get points, you can cash in those points for free things. And for your family and friends and stuff like that. And that will help you get more points too. I think you can get like 45 points, you get a $5.00 gift card or yeah, I mean that’s kind of what you can get. You can trade it for anything but I like it because it’s kind of—it’s money. And every time you search on it, you win points. So, it’s like a win, win. There is no reason why you wouldn’t do that.
So, I am going to put a link to, on Swag Bucks on the side bar. And you can just sign up, it’s free and like I said, it’s just like Google but you paid. It’s really cool. So, that is where I got this palate. I earned enough points to get—so, I am just going to show you real quick this fun makeover with the palate.
Benefit I will tell is there are cream, shadows. It can be a cream liner too but I use that as a base. It’s a great eye base and you want to powder off that cream because it will crease if you don’t. So, I’m just going to take the blushes that are going to start and just take the lighter one and just kind of put that all over my lid.
Now, to set the cream, you’ll always want to be sure, if you’re using creams, you want to set them with powder always. To light cream, foundation cream, concealer, anything you want to finish instead of a powder and it will last longer. Take this baby pink. Apply it all over your lid. Then, once you got that pink all over your eye, there are two dark pinky maroon colors, there’s a dark one and there’s a semi-dark one. I am going to mix the two. Mix the two. You just blend it right in there. So, see it.
I am going to take this light purple. And I am just going to follow all the darks that I just did. This light purple should really—Then take a blending brush and just blend. You wipe to your other brush, so white then applying, just go along the edges of the brows and then kind of blending in. And I’ve got Origin’s eye brightening stick. You can use a white, this is a light blue. Just do that under you eyelid. Okay, that’s to pop out white in your eyes. We’ve got Rejuva Minerals, black. So now, I am just going to lighten my eye. Be sure to curl your lashes. Then I am going to use L’Oreal’s Bare Naturale Mascara in Black. I love this stuff. Finish off with Victoria Secret’s Lip Butter. This is really kind of a natural look because the hair I am going to do—the hair is kind of funky.
Okay, take the top section. Backcomb, if you haven’t seen our Bump It video, that’s a good one to show you how to backcomb and it’s a really cute video. And natural bump it, so it doesn’t—you don’t use a lot of pins. Okay, so take a section like this. Can you see? Like that. Take your comb back, combing comb, this is a combing comb. And then go down. You want to push down. Don’t go up and down because that will damage your hair. That comb can be okay for your hair if you’re doing it the right way. So, you only go down, release. Come back up, down, release. Come back up, down, release. Back up, down, release. And you’ll make up a messy knot back here. And you want to spray it. I am using Tivani styling this and just spray it. And then comb it in a little bit more. You just really, really want to lock this mess back here.
Okay. Then do the sides. Okay, so your hair is going to, somewhat look kind of just messy, funky like really backcomb like crazy. Okay. If you like, you can backcomb this back into here too. Maybe really, really cute just to have no bangs too. I like my bangs, so I am going to keep them. Then, take a brush and just of comb softly through it. Just the part, so you got it even. Then take your half up.
Okay. And then once you’ve got half of—untangled, stuffed out that it’s still a good bump. Take your bobby pin. You want to put one in this way and then one in this way. If you need more, you can use a—a lot of hairs. The trick with bobby pins is you want them to cross, okay. So, you want them to cross like this. The reason why is because it secures it. So, it will cross like this. It secures the two bobby pins together so that they’re locked in your hair. So, you see now, you got a good bump.
Okay. So then, you got this funky poof. And then, take your backcombing comb again and just backcomb right into the roots of the hair that straight. This will give you a little bit of—to kind of balance out this poof right here. You don’t want to make it like too poofy but just enough to, just give you some volume. Okay, so see like that. See? It kind of like how I even got this poof. All right, this is just flab. Do the other side. Okay and then, spray it. Very cool and that’s it. And the jazz it up with some fun like earrings and you’re good to go.
