There are three key aspects of your business that you need to communicate in a company analysis section. These are your company’s’ profile, past accomplishments and unique qualifications.

This information is critical to investors as it indicates the company’s ability to execute upon their previous game plan. Obtaining milestone is an excellent indicator for potential investors that their money will be used to create value and leave to illiquidity event.
Finally, the company analysis should detail why the company is uniquely qualified to succeed. This is often referred too as a company’s unfair competitive advantage. This advantage could include world class management team, proprietary technology, proven operational systems, key partnerships, long-term contract with major customers as well as other successes today.
