I got an awesome recipe since all of your variations are a little weir. I got one amazing recipe that you guys are going to absolutely love.
All these recipes were summated right after we hit the Detroit market, so I don’t know what it is about there, but you must love corn bread up north.
Here’s what we need to do first. Add the sugar with the melted butter. As soon as that’s combined, quickly add in the eggs and mix very well. Once everything is combined, we’re going to set this to the side.
Now we need to add this baking soda right into our buttermilk. Now, we’re going to add our buttermilk mixture right into those eggs, sugar and butter comes together so easily.
Next, all we want to do is add in our cornmeal, flour and salt. We want to mix it together so there are few lumps visible. Now on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, just go ahead and spray it with a little pan. Now, we’re simply going to pour in our batter then we’re going in the oven 375 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes.
I don’t know about you all up in Detroit but this is some good old fashioned down south country cooking. If I had some ham and bean soup, I would be in absolute heaven right now. Everybody, put your recipe on hold. Use this one. It is absolutely perfect every single time.
