Hey, everyone, I am Eric Rochow, and this is Real World Green. Today, I really know what you call it, basically here is what we are going to call it. It's called You Get What You Pay For, and especially with tools. This is from my friend Mike, who lives outside of Chicago, who sent me this idea, and I really believe in it.
Well, when you are going to buy tools, or you are going to buy anything that you are really going to want to last, you get what you pay for. So buy quality tools, buy quality products and they are going to last you. If I bought a cheap ruler, and I am using it and it breaks, what am I going to do? I am going to throw it on a landfill, I am going to buy another one, alright?
So there is a couple of things there, we are wasting materials and we are filling up a landfill with broken tools, maybe broken kitchenware, you know what I mean. So by quality, it's going to cost more but actually it's going to cost you less, because instead of buying a cheap ruler, that's going to break and then a year later, you are going to buy another cheap ruler that's going to break. You are going to buy one ruler, this one, that works really well, and you're going to have it for 10 years. So there you go.
So instead of spending a little bit of money, a couple of times you are going to spend a lot of money once and be done with it. That was kind of mouthful, wasn't it. Alright, so tell me what you think, green-house.tv. Mike is on the green-house, couple of other my friends, they got some good ideas, and I just do what I am told. So, alright, make it a great day, I'll see you.
