This is Command & Conquer 3 Worldbuilder video tutorial and I am going to be discussing texturing, blending and transitions. Now what we have here is we have various swatches placed and you want to pick out your swatches to look like, almost like they are blended already; they are so similar in color and patterns to each other.
So let's go ahead and start blending these. So I go on here and just blend them on, click them one at a time and last one and this is what we got and you can see its sort of transition in the cliffs, see all looks pretty good except for maybe right here between these two textures I don't really like there right now.
When you pick out textures make sure they are going to match all the objects you are going to use; landscape needs to -- and the climate, zone climate all that needs to match and fit altogether. Even the roads like this like other road would look good, and these crappy destroyed buildings look good. So it's going to be -- everything is dead here, so even this road, this road looks really good with these particular textures.
