Robert Nassar: Hello! I’m Robert Nassar from Dinner Done in Centerville, Virginia. I’ve been involved in cooking for quite some time. I have owned Dinner done now for almost a year-and-a-half, and I’ve had a couple of restaurants as well.
Today, were going to talk about my favorite salad, Caesar salad. First, we’re going to show you how to make the dressing, and then, we’re going to put it all together for you. I don’t know about you, but it used to be, quite a few years ago, when you went into a good restaurant and ordered a Caesar salad, a waiter would come up to the table with all the makings for the Caesar salad, make the dressing and put the salad together at the table for you. Unfortunately nowadays, most restaurants offer you romaine lettuce with some dressing out of a bottle, and the dressing has nothing to do with the real Caesar salad dressing.
So, what you’re going to need for this is a pretty lengthy list of ingredients. You are going to need an egg, you are going to need oil, Dijon mustard, you are going to need Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lime or lemon, garlic, parmesan cheese, romaine lettuce, anchovies; don’t forget the anchovies, crumbled bacon and croutons. So, let’s go ahead and get started.
