Camping can be one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences you ever have but only if you are properly prepared with the right knowledge and the right gear.

First and foremost, you need a tent. The number of people you have sleeping in your tent will determine the size of the tent you need. Rule of thought, always get a tent that will sleep two or more people than you have plan to have.
If you are family of four, get a six man tent. Why? You need the extra room to store your duffle bag, back packs, shoes, boots and other gear. It is also nice but not necessary to have tent that you can stand of it. Things getting in and out a little easy as well as getting dressed and undress. You want to set your tent up on the level ground. If you do not, well you got the picture.

Okay, so you made to camp ground. Tent is up! The gear is in what do you next? Well, you could take a break, I mean you work hard. You deserved it crack open the cold one and relax.
Okay, enough relaxation. There is a much time left in this program and every one is hungry. Let us talk food.If you are going camping with the group people. Then, you have got some meal planning to do. How many people you are going to feed? How often?
Perhaps, each person or family can be responsible for one meal or one day of meals for the entire group. Talk to each other before hand, good meal planning can prevent wastes and starvation. As far as what food to bring well, what ever you normally for breakfast, lunch and dinner is what will you bring.
Okay. Now, you only got some candling, small pieces of wood, that it will burn quickly in order to get the fire started. Go on to the woods and gather some small branches. Pick off on the ground. Cutting off a trees is a no, no. Green wood will burn anyway. If you bought a bundle of firewood there should be some narrowly cut wood in there used that.
First, take a newspaper or any paper for that manner wad it up in the bowl and place it in the middle of the firewood. Now, you are going to build a little tippy around it. Use the candling first, then surrounds it with larger logs. Okay, now you are just about ready for ignition, light the paper in the middle which internally burn the candling, which in turn will burn the logs.
Alright, you are not going to have a real flame in ten seconds. It is going to take a little work you may to relay on few times blow on the ambers stalk a little bit. But eventually you will succeed
