Host: Hi! I am here with Tom, from Millbrook Winery and he is going to talk about his Tocai Friuliano
Tom: Tocai Friuliano which is originally an Italian grapes, coming from the Northeast section of Italy, does very well at Millbrook, similar climate soil conditions. It is a nice crisp, dry wine, pure 100% tocai, it is not sweet as I said, it is a dry table wine and it is an exceptional wine year after year and I think it is so valuable.
Host: When you taste it what kind of aromas and flavors do you find in it?
Tom: Normal, About aroma and taste, you are going to pick up a little of the citrus fruits, a little melon maybe, and we consider it a good pre-dinner wine.
Host: So would you serve it before dinner, would you serve it with any food?
Tom: I particularly like it before dinner with some nice light snacks, cheese crackers and food I take, obviously as a wine it goes very well with all the white cheese, fish poultry, shellfish, was exceptional with Asian food, spiced Indian curry, products from Southeast Asia..
Host: Thank you very much.
Tom: You are welcome.
