Male1: You use it freely, but we never defied it. What does the word cancer really mean?
Male2: Cancer is a growth of cells that are usually immature cells in an unrestricted fashion so that the cells will continue to grow and grow and grow when it is not necessary. Most cells in the body have mechanisms that control their growth so that when they need to grow, they grow for a little bit and when that is no longer needed, they stop growing. These mechanisms are out of control in cancer and so the cells continue to grow. They can typically invade other tissues and spread throughout the body.
