This helps by reducing the amount of weight you have to "push-up" against if you find normal pressups too hard. Thought that was kind of obvious.

This is a great idea!! I am doing P90X and can't do push-ups. I will totally try this! It is one way to actually build the proper muscle.

Put band partially through door anchor.
Place other end of band through the path that was inserted through the anchor.
Pull to form a tight loop knot.
Now, attach anchor to the top of a door and close.
Place arms in band and lower bands to waist level.
There you have it – assisted push ups
