Card Ilusion Lesson

Amanda: Amanda. Jay Jay: Amanda, Jay Jay, how are you? Amanda: Alright, nice to meet you. Jay Jay: Alright, nice to meet you, okay, we’ve got this --- do you like card tricks? Amanda: Yup. Jay Jay: Really? I’ve got some really cool cards here. They're normal cards. Can you shuffle them up? Amanda: Sure. Jay Jay: Give them a shuffle. Amanda: Can I look at them or not? Jay Jay: Yeah, you can look at them. Cool. Yeah, you're good at it. You're professional. Give them a shuffle too. Its not much, I see here. Amanda: I’d take it on the table and we can like -- Jay Jay: I know, okay, cool. It makes my job a lot harder, okay, here we go. I want you to grab at any card that you want, okay. Don’t show me, show the camera and I won’t look. You've done that? Have you done that? Amanda: Yup. Jay Jay: Done? Okay, cool, fluster the card faced down. Amanda: Don’t look buddy. Jay Jay: I won’t look, here we go. Watch. Just push it in. Yeah. Oh, not so slowly, alright, here we go. Amanda: Oh, I don’t know. Jay Jay: Just snap your fingers. I’m going to find your card with one hand behind my back, ready? Amanda: Okay, yup. Jay Jay: Done. Here we go, watch. Amanda: Oh! My gosh! You're cool buddy, you're cool. Hey guys! Grab your pack of cards. This is what you need to do. The secret is, you need to turn over the bottom card, you're not going to do that while they're watching but you need to have the bottom card turned the opposite way. Then you're going to get them to choose a card, they choose a card, they have a look at it and this is the secret move. You’re pretty much turning your hand over. Okay, just turning the deck over like this. Once again, they choose a card. They have a look at it. You turn the deck over. That’s it. Don’t worry about it too much. They're not looking for it. The next part is you're going to place the card back inside the deck. Now, they think the deck is normal, its not, at the moment you’ve got the turned over card and then all the cards are faced up. They place the card back inside the deck, you push the card in, then you say I’m going to find your card with one hand behind my back. You hold the deck and this is what you're doing behind your back. Let’s say, I’m bringing my hand in front of me now but this is what you do. You will just flip over that card, now if you can’t do that with one hand, that’s fine. Put it against your back and you just flip over that card, just like that. If you still can’t do that, you say, “I’m going to find your card behind my back.” You can just use two hands. As you go behind your back, you turn over that card. So after the cards are being turned over, bring it in front of you and say, “Look.” You snap your fingers and as you go through, one card will be faced down in a faced up deck. You ask them what their card is, they say, that Queen of Clubs and you can go check this out. You blow and turn it over. So once again, in normal speed, once again this card is turned the opposite way. You ask them to choose a card. They have a look, you turn this over, go show your friends. This is great. Pass them the card, watch. Place it back inside the deck. I’m going to find your card with one hand behind my back, okay, great, done. Snap my fingers. Go through, one card, then your card, Queen of Spades, just like that.
