I am Steve Turano. welcome to this episode of body performance.
Let me give you a little cardio tip. I do not know one person on the planet who likes doing cardio, maybe Lance Armstrong. But after that it is a very small group. It is boring, seems to take forever. And I could be doing so many other things in that 30 minutes.
When man in law in time this is what I do, I pick out a mile whether it is outside or in the treadmill and I try to complete that mile in its short time as possible. I do a combination of running, walking, jogging, sprinting, I just want to get to the mile as quickly as possible. Here what we will do look at the number things.
Number one, I feel good because at least I did something. I did something out of cardio. It makes me feel good.
Number two, it will burn lies a hundred calories. Sure you are not doing it for a very long, but you are doing it with a lot of intensity.
And number three it also improve the cardiovascular ability. And we want to workout to look great and loose weight. But we also want our bodies to perform better and doing cardio at a higher intensity does that. It stresses the heart and lungs so when you pick out mile and you run, jog do it every you got to do to get through it in a short time as possible. That also stresses the cardiovascular system improving your performance.
