Dan Hernandez: The next one are artificial. I got my first one on that tubes.
Male: Yeah, first catch.
Dan Hernandez: Come on, baby.
Male: All right. First catch, I mean how do you start off any better than that?
Dan Hernandez: We got another fish there too right there, grab it. That one, alright. There is a tuna.
Male: There was tuna.
Dan Hernandez: These are my first two casts in New York. You see I can hit it. We have circle hook on here so I can’t really just slip the hook at away from either but I just thought to straighten it out using the two bait and we’re sending out the dock before we headed out in the fog and Terry was talking about using the two baits and how they work really get up here because of that kind of base which you have here to use.
Male: Absolutely.
Dan Hernandez: And that makes it really got the bottom I just click it a couple of times.
Male: Good job!
Dan Hernandez: Thanks.
Male: I guess I don’t have to show you how to do it.
Dan Hernandez: That’s my first one that does it.
Male: Wow!
Dan Hernandez: And how big when we say this one is?
Male: This one here is a little bit over—this about our average size this time of the year. Try about too—.
Dan Hernandez: Oh, we got one.
Male: There about three and half pound.
Dan Hernandez: Oh, two ways just got room but, here we go. Well, I show them it was over we’ve been here about 30 seconds.
Male: Perch.
Dan Hernandez: Perch.
Male: There you go a doubled slammer. Yeah.
Dan Hernandez: That’s a perch. What kind of fish is this?
Male: That’s a yellow perch is what it is. I guess today I'm a multi specie guy.
Dan Hernandez: I guess so.
Male: Instead of just small mob.
Dan Hernandez: My first two cast in New York and I get two fishes, two different species. There's another perch for me, yellow perch. These are delicious from what I've been told.
Male: They're one of the best eating fish that you can get.
Dan Hernandez: Cool. All right, Terry. We finally get here so far.
Male: Thank you. I think you're going to like those Peruvians, huh?
Dan Hernandez: Yeah. This one came up at the bottom.
Male: At the bottom? Let me grab in that.
Dan Hernandez: I'm sorry I don’t need it. There you go.
Male: Not a big job two kids, two perch and are you sure have making me look good Dan.
Dan Hernandez: Call it tall water experience.
Male: Yes, it is.
Dan Hernandez: And you can see the way that fish ate this out this out downtown with the two baits and see how the hook is right on top of his mouth and that’s why you have to always keep pressure on is to how easy that bait came out do for a little fish.
Male: Because what—there we go. This is just.
Dan Hernandez: You may never see me on the ocean again. This is so easy. I could say anything that stop at the—there we go.
Male: I don’t know. I don’t know use for me to put any baits in the water.
Dan Hernandez: This is so easy. Now we’re using the circle hook here and this is the bait, slight bait and now what we’ve got is a three way swivel. Sinker on that—oh we just got that and then the tackle using today we got all star rod, blue gel, real casing red—what kind of test case we’ve got?
Male: Ten pounds.
Dan Hernandez: Ten pounds? That’s working great. In case you wanted to works great in New York.
Male: Absolutely.
Dan Hernandez: All right, cool.
Male: Good job again.
Dan Hernandez: Thanks. Oh, we’re going to take a little break from the action here and visit the tackle box. We gave you a closer look at all these rays that we’re using today. Today is fishing here in beautiful Buffalo New York. All right, I think we got one.
