Whoe! if 48% of men who cheat do so due to lack of emotional connection, what about the othern52% ? And of the 48%, what is the cause of the lack of emotional connection? How well are they communicating? If the wife making any effort to meet his "needs", or just ignoring them? Emotional connection requires two to take place, not just one. If this is a major cause, then the offended wife must share responsibility for the circumstances that lead to the cheating (although the man concerned still must accept responsibility for his choice of action) In a marriage, both the partners have natural needs that still need to be met. Often, even usually, for the woman it is the natural need for social communion within the relationship, for the man, the instinctive need for intimacy. The needs of the two are different, as are male and female, but both very real. Problems occur when one or the other neglects the natural needs of the spouse. It takes two to make a marriage.
