Change Icons in Windows XP

Today I am going to show you how to change an icon on your desktop and just a few simple steps. So I’ll select and icon, right click, select Properties. You can see here that it shows here the existing icon, I’ll go down here to change icon. Now Windows comes with some default icons that you can use if you wish or if you’ve downloaded some icon files from the internet. You can click browse then you got to have t navigate to where you have your icons stored. In this case I put a few icons in a folder called icons, I select an icon here say Open. And now you can see it shows you the icon in the box, click OK. Once again, you can see that up here it shows the icons that’s going to be displayed. Go down and click Apply, click OK and we are all done, and here you can see there’s a new icon on the desktop and that’s all there is to it.
