Change Power Setttings on Your PC

In windows click start settings and then click at control panel, control panel opens, go here to power options double click on that, and bring this down so you can see it, and you see the are number of tabs here, under power schemes there are some built in power schemes first jump up you have laptop it assist these things smaller these are for your convenience you can have one that's always onward never spins down in your hard drives maximum battery and so on.

But for most people you can select home office desk, but you can see here, I can go in and adjust power setting, so I can help my mind to go up to minutes and spin down my hard drives after 15 minutes and may be I want my computer to go on to and stand by two hours, then I have to click apply, on the advance step you can decide if you want have an icon in the task bar.

If you want to have a password prompt when you come back from standby what happens when you press the power button here you get in to hibernation or do that another tutorial and here is settings for UPS when you have a back up power supply and will get to that another tutorial as well. So you can go on here set your options save money save energy do your part for global warming and that's all that is do it.
