Hey guys, iPod Touch 2G Geek here and in this view, I’m going to show you how you can change the fonts that are displayed on your iPod Touch or your iPhone.
Alright so your iPhone or iPod Touch will need to be jail broken alright so you’re going to open up Cydia and let it load. Okay. So, once it’s loaded, you’re going to search for a package. All you need to do is type in fonts alright, then you’re going to select the FontSwap by Gauravgiri, I believe it’s pronounced. So, you’re going to click Install and confirm and just let it do its thing. Alright, so I’m going to pause the video here and I’ll be back once it’s done installing.
Okay guys, so once it loads, you can just go back to the home screen and this requires no respring reboot, none of that alright. Just go back to the home screen and then you’ll see an icon called FontSwap. Alright, you’re going to click on that and then you can change your dialer fonts if you have an iPhone, your LockClock fonts, I’m not sure what that is. I guess that’s the type of font it displays on the digital clock on your lock screen, your note’s font which is the font, you know, when you’re writing notes and system fonts which is, you know, the fonts over here and down here, all that stuff. The main fonts, you know, up here alright so let’s go to System Fonts. Okay so now, you can just select any font you want to change the font to. If I want to change it to Neo Sans Intel, it’ll say install and respring iPhone, install and relaunch FontSwap or cancel. I’m guessing all we need to do is install and respring iPhone. Alright so I’m going to pause the video because VEENCY doesn’t get the iPod when it resprings so I’ll come back once it’s resprung.
Alright, so you can see that my font’s changed, the nine and the calendar changed up here changed, these Titles all changed probably even in my music so let’s see, yeah, see it changed all of these. So, let’s just go ahead and play a song, see if it changed anything in there. All that changed was this, I mean it’s still a great application, you know, if you get bored of that same Arial font all the time, but you know it works fantastically, you know, it’s just a simple application, you select the one you want, you respring your iPod or iPhone and it works. And if you want to get back to the, you know, regular font, you just go back to System Fonts and I’m guessing it is Binary ITC. Let me see if there’s an Arial, oh no, I’m guessing it’s probably Binary ITC or Calibri. Oh no, it would be Default right there infront of me. You would just click on Default and it would change the fonts back to the way they were before you installed it, before you changed it.
Alright guys so thanks for watching. If you like my videos, please rate, comment and if you like all of them, please subscribe. Alright, I’ll be posting more videos soon. I am busy most of the time so I’ll try to find time to post more videos, but other than that, thanks for watching guys.
