Cherries Jubilee Recipe
Welcome and thank you for stopping by at my cooking show. It’s Supper Time presented
by Callingthechef.com powered by Smucker’s. During the summer right now, I figured
that cherries are in season right now. I’m going to show you how to make a cherries
jubilee.
So, here are the ingredients what we have and in a couple of minutes, the ice cream is
what you really want to serve this cherries jubilee with. So, we have a cherry glaze or you
can use cherries Smucker’s jam. I have some dark brown sugar. You can use light brown
sugar, some alcohol for the show and of course, the cherries which I’ve pitted over here
but you want to cut it in half, pull off the pit and that’s what you don’t want to use.
On this, I’ll put brown sugar and the cherry glaze together. This is only going to take you
about not even a minute. So, just really constitute the brown sugar and this cherry glaze
together, so there are no pieces of sugar in there. Add your cherries, very nice. We get
that constituted with the cherry glaze. Since we do have this, we add the alcohol. The
alcohol is just for show. You don’t want to add this whole bottle or we’ll be torching the
house. You just want to add of course off the flame about half of that.
So, you burn that off and this is a really quick, simple dessert. Pour it off like so and you
cover some ice cream. You could garnish it with some whip cream and all that and that’s
one really simple, I'm lazy today. So, let’s try this out here, cherries jubilee.
