on the last move... there still hope .. before the pawn could go and become a queen.. the king could move on the white place.rather moving his knight. right??

In the last move, with pawn at c7 why not just move rook back to a8?

"Black could use bishop at mid-center to cover spot where pawn would be promoted " No because if Bishop goes on f5 to cover c8 the white Pawn will be promoted taking the knight in b8.

If the Black king moves to take the white pawn, then it can just take the black knight to promote.
