Maya: Welcome to Watch Mojo this is Maya. We’re here at the Empanada La Chile Tina en Empanades capsule where people are working the best time they could to make empanadas for the whole day.
So we’re going to see how empanadas are being made.
Can you tell me a bit more about what it’s like to making these?
Maya: Okay our restaurant specializes in empanadas. And empanadas, we bake them like on special occasions on Sundays or like an appetizer with red wine. But here, it’s like more popular and we would make it like a fast good meal to go.
The traditional one is La Chilena, it’s beef with a piece of egg, an omelet, that’s like really typical. And the rest there are inventions of my mother that she wanted to do for more people. But the Chilean people eat La Chilena. In Chile they are called La Chilena, empanada Latino.
Everybody takes a glass of wine with an empanada, it’s like really traditional.
