In the previous lesson I showed you how to carve the 3-corner chip negative border. There is something we can do to dress that up real nicely. Let me show you how to do that right now. In between these spaces along the outside edge of this negative 3-corner border, we can add tiny little 3-cornered chips along both edges. Now, these are just tiny you do not have to draw them in there, you can just eyeball about half way up. Again, the same technique and notice I am using the second position with my knife on these cuts. And then, the final first position slicing cut along the edge takes out tiny little 3-corner chips along the border. And, I will do the same thing on the opposite side. Again, this move right along, do one after another. Turn your board back to the second position. And then, a slicing cut along this bottom line. Look at that. Is it not nice to dresses it up real nice along the edge it was tiny 3-corner chips along the edges?
