Chip Carving 109 - How to Clean Ceramic Sharpening Stones

My Chip Carving 109 Cleaning your ceramic sharpening stones Visit the STORE at www.MyChipCarving .com for more info! Last month I showed you how sharpen your chip carving knife using the ceramic stones. This month let us look how to clean up those stones after you are done sharpening to bring them back to a light new condition. As you sharpen your knives, you will notice that your stones will get a black residue on the surface. To clean that up, go to your kitchen sink and run a little bit of water across the surface of your stone, get some Ajax or common cleanser along with a green scot bright pad. Scour the surface of your stone, rinse it off and it will be white, like new condition once again, ready to sharpen your knives next time. That is all that is to it.
