Chocolate Copabanana Recipe
Derrick: Welcome to Common Man Cocktails, I am your host Derrick Schommer and today we are going to create the Chocolate Copa Banana. Here is our banana, here is our chocolate revenge. I got revenge coming, I have brought the St. Brandon’s back this time I am going to open it and that is my goal.
We are going to do two ounces of the Irish Crème we are going to do an ounce of Crème de Banana – Banana liqueur. Four ounces of chocolate, we are going to put it on a high ball glass, little ice in there. We are going to do some chocolate shaving and you know what while I am there I am going to throw some whip cream. This is whip cream right? Cool whip, something awesome. And you are gong to shake it, so let’s do it up –let the press some ice in here.
We will do our two ounces.
Female: Well look at that, you showed it who is boss.
Derrick: I showed it to boss – who is boss? So there are two ounces of Irish Cream, and you can use whatever your favorite Irish Cream is that you have on hand. Well you can open and for those that have just found this video like “What is this guy.”
You need to go back to last week and you will see having a little bit of a struggle.
Female: That is actually quite funny.
Derrick: No, it is only funny when it is not you.
Female: That is wasn’t me, so it was funny.
Derrick: I love the smell of that banana; we will do four ounces of chocolate milk. You can make this yourself with chocolate and milk.
Female: Really?
Derrick: Or you can buy it and you might be able to use Yoo-Hoo if you like Yoo-Hoo.
Female: No.
Derrick: No Yoo-Hoo is like all manufactured.
Female: I’m going to go with Nestle.
Derrick: So it is not about the manufacture it is about the company?
Female: Yoo-Hoo taste weird; I haven’t it for a long, long time. Do they even still make it?
Derrick: Oh yeah, I’ll down to 7-11 right now and pick it up – Come Biz, head down to Come Biz down in the corner.
Female: That is where they make Nestle Quick.
Derrick: They have Yoo-Hoo. This recipe comes to us from Shannon by the way. It is full, this is more than a high ball worth of content.
Female: That is going to be good so.
Derrick: So you drink tons of this, you can drink this all day. Probably you don’t need ice.
Female: I can’t imagine this is going to be bad anyway.
Derrick: Then I will leave a little room, let’s do the whip cream. Are you supposed shake whip cream? Did you shake this when you stole some?
Female: I didn’t steal some…
Derrick: She stole some of my chocolate and she stole my whip cream and tried to accused of buying open ones at the store.
Female: He did, he doesn’t look very well, and it can be poisoned.
Derrick: There we go.
Female: Now you have to drink it.
Derrick: Why she is right inside. It will be fine, it is all good, do you mind skin in your—I might have just got some extra shavings. And see her sauce in there.
Female: I have a little adverse skin in my drinks.
Derrick: This looks like it is retained all of it’s skinly pleasures that you need to keep your inner skin safe.
Female: Let’s drink.
Derrick: So there you go, it looks like a coffee type drink which we do have this week coming up. With a nice head of what is that stuff? Whip cream and chocolate shavings; you can do with or without them depending on how you like your cocktails. I just try to be a little creative.
That is super banana; I had so many problems with the other banana stuff. This stuff is like a million times better. You know what the banana is that I keep getting from this? I smelled it and I couldn’t figure out what it is. What were those little candies that look like fruits?
They had the banana, the strawberry.
Female: Runts
Derrick: Runts. That tastes like a runt. And it is even in here it’s almost like there are runts in here that are like boiled down and made into runt liquid. The Irish cream, you get it near the tail end a little bit of alcohol but very Irish creamy like whiskyish thickness they put and hides well in the chocolate milk so you are not getting a lot of different; sometimes you get the coffee taste from the Irish cream. I am not getting anything like that it is very much more like a milkshake consistency like ice cream or chocolate milk.
So little bit of potency but not much – very good as a dessert drink, I don’t know if you sit there and suck three of these down there like a football game or something. But very tasty so there you go, that is the chocolate Copa banana, I don’t know if it is banana or banana. I think Copa banana sounds better. So we go with that, you can check as out at everydaydrinkers.tv if you want to and I think, I’m teaching you how to drink.
