The best swimsuit for your body type
Here are couple of tips to consider before shopping for your body shape. If you are slightly boyish shape, meaning you do not have a lot of curves then look for a two piece or a one piece that has slight raffling details and that will create the illusion of curves on your body. This great suit from Seafolly, which has raffling detail on the bottom and just below the waistline so it is a perfect suit to create the illusion of curves.
It looks like slightly wider hips what we call pear shape or triangle shape in the industry; choose something that has a lot of detailing up towards the chest. You want to create illusion that you have a bigger bust line to balance your body. So look for details such as side rooshing, a deeper neckline, the little bow interest here and extra padding. All of these will detract the attention away from the hip area to create a more balanced figure.
If you are petite figure that is 5’4” and under but you want to do. Stay away from anything that is overly embellished or has a lot of patterns or a lot of mixed colors. You want to elongate your body and create a smooth long line. So this great suit from Jets by Jessica Allen perfect for petite figure. It is monochromatic, minimal detailing perfect for a petite.
Look at plus sized, try to stay away from anything that is really deeply cut, bikinis anything too risky. One pieces are actually really good concealers especially in a busy prints like this because it will not truly destruct the eye and not dry your eye into any of those problem areas.
Girls with curvier figures should choose to highlight their assets. So what we want to do is choose something with the deep V and actually this example with the keyhole detail is perfect. If you want to draw the eye inward and enhance is not concealed.
Girls with tall and lean figures contrary to popular belief do not have an easy time trying to find the swimsuit. So they should choose something with the busy overall pattern. Taller girls can handle all of the extra embellishments, the beadings, the strings, the overall busy quince. One thing I like about with this swimsuit is it has a cut out detail, which creates the illusion of curves.
Finally, no matter what your body shape there is a couple of things to consider before purchasing a swimsuit. Look for friendly and helpful staff trying suits that are couple of size as bigger than your actual size and black is a natural concealer it works for all body shapes but for princess seaming wider straps. This is a great one from Simon Jane. So on that note, happy shopping and have fun.
