Choosing Nail Art for Your Wedding

Nessa Wrafter: I’m here at the Daniel Galvin Salon in London with Zoe Pocock. He is a master nail technician and she’s going to show us how to get some seriously stunning nails for your wedding day. Hi, Zoe. Thanks for having me. Zoe Pocock: Hello, pleasure. Nessa Wrafter: And what are we going to do. Zoe Pocock: Okay we’re just going to run through the mini consultation first about looks that are available to you and what we’re going to do to prep before even start to determine the nails. You’ve never have anything like this done before. You did tell me that earlier. So, I’m just going to run through is a couple of different ideas that you can go with. So if you’re going to go with enhancement of false nails as we really don’t like to call them. So, we want the nails and we’re taking about because your nails have the short shape and they’re quite not what you’re looking. So we want to keep them as natural looking as possible and make them look like they’ve grown out, they won’t big gloves of blue tack and suddenly big space on the end of your nails. It’s all about looking quite neat and tidy and the natural shape of your nail is quite, quite square and you have to see wear them and quite come to that length. So what we’re going to do is although I’m going to bring them just that further into your natural nail at the end of your finger I’m going to take them in just a little bit the sides to give it more narrow looking you know stretch out the nail but then what mostly I’m going to do to show another style is on the wedding ring finger. I’m going to use a clear tip and this is what we call embedding and we actually put it clear extended tip bone and we are going to put some white flowers. This can be anything, anything to be embedded onto the nail. Nessa Wrafter: Yeah. Zoe Pocock: We’re going to choose white flowers for the wedding lip and you can have anything like colors, diamond taste if you want to go that way. I’ve also done in the past two little gold tiny rings which igneous from an old necklace. So it looks like two wedding rings. So I finish with the trimmings now. We’ve got three different looks. We’ve got the embedded diamonds which we keep after 12 and some it’s nice to keep here and it will keep safe for your wedding. You’ve got your custom blend where I have made the nail beds are a little bit longer for you. That’s another look that we used out there and also your embedding which it’s more enough if we can embed that for the nail for you then. Now, what I do recommend even if you have to keep them long for two to three weeks which is the longest recommended time before you need a maintenance stand, use a nail and cuticle everyday and just wrap that into a cloth and just put it now. I just wrap it in everyday at least once a day, twice will be brilliant. For removal, two to three weeks time, come back to the salon and we will take them off put and remove it safely for you. Don’t pick them off quite enough. Any other cruising means to say other friend’s salon open. Nessa Wrafter: So thank you very much Zoe. They look amazing.
