I’m Marc Wallace and I've set up the company nine years ago specializing in men’s formal ware and wedding ware and clothes for special events. Well at Marc Wallace, we design two collections of season we clothes in winter, spring, and summer. And we have a lot of focus on let's say dressing up men for weddings. Those are wedding have moved down a lot in the last sort of 10 years where it used to be very formal, very much sort of bright colors under quite sort of darks and the suits with the splash of color on the waist coats. Now a day’s people looking at more very much more of slick sort of customized suits, three-piece suits reddens to a very bright waistcoats and looking sort of tone of elements to the accessories. Just to make them stand up a little bit about not much sort of them.
Here at the Marc Wallace collection I'm going to take you through some of the key looks for this season. We have a range of brown fabrics in the collection. This is a lovely dog troths wool and silk mix, very luxurious and will make a really great wedding suit and something you can ware off towards it as well. We have a sear silk collection, which comes in four-color ways great for those summer weddings. It’s a little bit more relaxed rather than a black suit for the season. And when a groom comes in to the shop many years ago, we had the mother-in-law would come in and mother would come in everyone would be chipping in their sort of ideas and into the outfit. And the guy would feel quite isolated at that point. Now a days the men that come in here and they're fitting a lot more comfortable about what they want to ware on the day our job here is to make them think about what they want to ware. I give them different opportunities to try on looks colors, themes, and ideas to get to the end of product.
The signature is a style at Marc Wallace is, it is a very natural one buttoned, very sort of trimmed silhouette, slim shoulders, slim sleeve is a very much of fitted look we do. Trousers are flat front low rise straight leg and if the guy is sort of higher its important that the groomed is dressed up and looking the best that you can. Sometimes high works from a budget point of view because you're not going just buying six suits, seven suits for your sort of ushers and best-man. But I think when it come down to the groom outfits its very important that he really is working on something that is going to make him look and feel very special on that day.
We have some of the grays which is quite a hot color this season, this is a wool and mohair mixed fabric here which is a fantastic look for this season as well make to bring in a waistcoat and a white shirt and tie wrap for that. we've moved on to a lighter weight fabric and light color which is great summer cloth for weddings here, I would say from the point of view just a tight shoes an outfit and just you got to come in with an open mind and just try on different looks. Because that’s the only way you're going to get to the end of products is by trying different things on. So its really important to come in but you might have an idea on what you want to ware but its really, really important so then take that idea and try on some different things you might not think about trying on.
