Male: I’m here at The Deep in whole, an alternative wedding venue underwater. Hello Caroline.
Caroline Dill: Hello, welcome to The Deep.
Male: Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you. I would say I’m rather excited about this whole experience underwater with sharks I believed.
Caroline Dill: It’s fantastic isn’t it?
Male: And quite a few sharks I believed.
Caroline Dill: Yes, we have lots of collections of sharks in Europe, in France it’s great. Wait until you see them that huge, absolutely massive.
Male: And people get married here.
Caroline Dill: Yeah, all the time.
Male: I’m liking the sound of this, don’t keep me in suspense any longer. Shall we take a look?
Caroline Dill: Come and have a look.
Male: Now, the only reason that we start the lagoon at the top and walk away up to the deep. Well, I believed that’s quite an array of sharks, in fact the biggest collection of sharks in Europe. So, Caroline we are here in the depths, it looks absolutely incredible. It is very dark, very airy and it just make a—of unusual wedding setting I would say.
Caroline Dill: Yeah, this window here, this big window has been setting for two of the ceremonies now which once designed normally by the bride, as you can imagine. Yes, fantastic setting because some of the sharks coming fast and the sharks always making appearance so you can guarantee one of the sharks will show up mid ceremony.
Male: They like the camera.
Caroline Dill: They do, they’re attracted to the light softened. They light the area where absolutely guests can get a nice view of things but yeah the sharks come up and have a—at the camera themselves, they love being filmed.
Male: In terms of sulfuring on from the ceremony, I mean it is such an intimate remember place to get married. You must find people coming back again and again.
Caroline Dill: Yeah they do, lots of our brides and grooms that got married here—just anyway and know all of us and know the theme that were coming to weddings but we’ve recently just had our fascinating ceremony. She was gorgeous, lovely little girl and she was named here at The Deep. It was a simple ceremony that was fantastic.
Male: How much input can the couple have to the ceremony itself?
Caroline Dill: Absolutely everything. We never dictate anything. We set boundaries on what we can do, we’re not magicians. We are working in an aquarium so will opens the public everyday. So when they’re planning the wedding they have to keep that in mind but we’re very flexible, they can get married in front of the lagoon window with beautiful fish things like Nemo and Dorie swimming around them as they take their vows and also with the sharks, so absolutely anywhere and they completely designed the whole ceremony themselves.
Male: Thank you so much for joining us today, Caroline brilliant.
Caroline Dill: Thank you.
