Chrysler 200C Concept

I am here standing in front of the Chrysler's concept 200C. As the name suggests, it's a little below the 300C. This is envisioned there is a car that might be sold as a step down, slightly smaller than the 300C, smaller engines. As it's shown here, it has an ENVI drive train, that is an electric propulsion 268 horse power electric motor driving here the rear wheels with a range extending gas engine. Now, Chrysler hasn't really released any information about their gas engine yet, but Frank Cleager today told me that it is likely going to be a two-cylinder, turbo charged, gasoline engine produced by another industry so like a motor cycle or something like that sourcing on that because they can run that at a constant speed that's never powering the wheels. Chrysler's best days have been the times when it was really a style leader and so they were looking for that in this car as well, some thing that makes you just go wow. The designer who was 31-years old. He wanted some thing that people of his age would aspire to. So along with the very aerodynamic shape which by the way does perfectly well fit a Phoenix V6, their new V6 coming out and that's probably the way you'll see this car at first and not with a electric drive train. But along with that we got an interior that's very youth friendly. It has a fully interactive dash with touch screens. Any one whose is familiar with an iPhone would really get along well with this dash, an unprecedented level of connectivity. You can send the information to the car from your computer and so on and so forth, a lot of that sort of innovation on the inside. Of all the choices, Chrysler is the one we probably all worry the most about and so we're encouraged to see such good looking cars at the Detroit Auto show from Chrysler and we've also have fixed behind the screen a lot of stuff that's coming. I think it all stuff that the either public will really enjoy or really like, will go for. We just have to keep our fingers crossed that they make to the next year or so of really tough setting.
