Thanks for stopping by. I am Chef Billy Parisi and you are watching fixmyrecipe.com. Our new fix comes from actually an e-mail address, I didn't get the name or location. For streusels, she said or he said it runs all over the place. You know what, I can't just make sure this will not put anything with it. So you know what, we have got an awesome morning coffee cake with an oatmeal streusel to go right on top.
Alright, mystery submission, the first thing we can do is cream together this butter and sugar till it's nice and fluffy. At that point, we are going to add in one egg at a time till completely combined with mix. We are adding in our vanilla, milk, and sour cream.
While all those ingredients are completely combining, this is perfect time to sift together our dry ingredients. By the time it is done sifting, it should be perfect timing to throw it right in our wet ingredients. You want to mix all the ingredients together till it is just mixed.
Now here is the streusel, I was promising you, it's an oatmeal streusel; it's absolutely excellent. Here it goes. Brown sugar, and regular sugar, some nutmeg, and cinnamon, and whole butter, and oatmeal and we are simply going to cut the butter right in.
You saw how easy everything came together. Not just that coffee cake, but that streusel. At this point we are going to go ahead and spray our pan with a little non-stick spray, add in our batter and we are going to sprinkle that streusel right on top, going in the oven, 350 degrees for about 45-55 minutes.
Oh! wow! Doesn't this look and smell amazing? Notice that the streusel didn't run everywhere. We are going to let this cool and try a little bit out. Oh man! There is so much flavor in that streusel. Try using that oatmeal and split the sugar in half, regular granulated and regular brown, you are going to love this brand new recipe fix.
Once again, thank you so much for watching fixmyrecipe.com. You know what, I don't care if you don't leave your name or your location, I am just happy you all are sending recipes in and I love to fix them. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see our new featured fix of the day.
