Noelle: Hi, my name is Noelle and I'm Deer Park, New York and my question is are colonics beneficial for digestive disorders? Toomas Sorra: Well Noelle, there is probably a short answer and a long answer for that. Short answer is no and the long answer is no. Realistically, if you see the adds for colonics they try to convince people that there is 40 years of stool built up in the colon and that colonics are the only way to get rid of it is simply not true. If you maintain a healthy high fiber diet you have regular bowel movements then there is absolutely no reason for colonics.
